DETAILS

Camas residents know how beautiful our natural parks are, and now you can ride them too on the longest day of the year!

After parking at the Lacamas Heritage Trailhead, we'll follow the shoreline of Lacamas Lake over to Round Lake and into the beautiful forests of the park.  Through a mixture of wide gravel roads and narrow paths, we'll cross Lower Falls, and eventually spill out on the dyke path that parallels the Columbia River for a few miles.  All these paths are shared with pedestrians.

For more details, please look at the map.

This out-and-back gravel bike ride is a favorite of cyclists in the area, with a few serious climbs and one fast downhill (that you'll have to climb later).  The rest of it is sublime scenery.

Two bathroom facilities, but not at the turnaround.

Guidance:
- Unless you're a 19 mph + avg road rider, mountain bikes will be too slow!
- Road bikes & tires will likely get flats or slide out.  You need gravel or mountain bike tires!
- Not for absolute beginners.
