New Routes, Classic RACC Hospitality

Celebrate the 42nd Ride Around Clark County (RACC) on Saturday, July 25, 2026, starting and finishing at the historic Fort Vancouver in Vancouver, WA! This year’s theme, “See the Wonders of Clark County,” features five brand-new routes, each designed to showcase seven standout local sights. Choose the ride that fits your day:

  • 18-mile Family Route: The easygoing choice.
  • 34-mile Explorer: For a mix of town and nature.
  • Metric Century: A challenging mid-distance ride.
  • The Century: An epic 100-mile journey.
  • 61-mile Adventure/Gravel Route: Want a little grit with your miles? Our Adventure/Gravel Route delivers a fun mix of paved and unpaved terrain.

RACC is a signature Vancouver Bicycle Club event, and every registration helps support local charities, so every mile matters. Along the way, you’ll enjoy top-rated rest stops matched to each stage of the course, stocked with favorites like our “world-famous” trail putty and homemade cookies to keep you rolling strong. After you cross the finish line, celebrate with a refreshing Ice Cream Bar, the perfect summer reward to share with fellow riders. And don’t miss the special edition RACC performance t-shirt to commemorate the ride!

Bring the Family!

We’ve made it easier than ever for the next generation to join the tradition: kids 12 and under ride free with a paid adult, and youth ages 13–17 ride any route for just $20 with a paid adult.

With a welcoming atmosphere and routes for every skill level, and e-bikes welcome, RACC 2026 is the best way to spend a summer Saturday on two wheels. For everyone’s safety, bicycle helmets are required for all riders.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Everything you need to know before ride day.

Is there support if someone gets a flat or has a mechanical breakdown?

Yes. Our Road Support Crew patrols all routes throughout the day and can help with flats and minor repairs. If a bike can't be fixed on the spot, they'll transport you to the nearest rest stop with a repair station or back to Registration. All volunteers carry cell phones and can call 911 in the event of a serious medical emergency.

What is the refund policy?

Registration fees are non-refundable unless the ride is canceled by VBC. If you can't attend, you can still access the routes through Ride with GPS (RWGPS) and download them to your GPS device/app or print cue sheets for personal use.

We know that life happens, so transfers are allowed up to 2 weeks before the event. To complete a transfer, the new rider must fill out a registration form and sign the waiver prior to the event. Please note that the transferee must ride the same route as the original registration, or a shorter one. To get started, use our Contact Us form and select RACC Coordinator in the "Send To" field.

How will I know where to go?

Routes are marked with directional arrows at key turns. Before the event, you'll also receive an email with links to the Ride with GPS (RWGPS) routes so you can download your route to a GPS device or app. Prefer paper? You can also print cue sheets from RWGPS.

Are e-bikes allowed?

Yes, Class 1, 2, and 3 e-bikes are allowed on all RACC routes. For details, see an overview of Washington's e-bike laws.

How long do I have to complete the ride?

The course closes at 5:00 pm, and support teams leave the course after that time. Choose a start time that gives you plenty of time to finish at your preferred pace, including rest stops.

Where do the routes start and end? Where can I park?

All routes start and finish at historic Fort Vancouver in Vancouver, WA.

I pre-ordered a RACC T-shirt — where do I pick it up?

Pick up your T-shirt at the table near the Registration area. Please bring a photo ID to confirm your order.

Will RACC T-shirts be available for purchase at the event?

No. This year's RACC T-shirt is available by pre-order only. All orders must be received by June 17.

Do I have to wear a helmet?

Yes. Helmets are required for all riders. The City of Vancouver has a mandatory helmet ordinance for all ages. Washington State law also requires e-bike riders to comply with local helmet ordinances wherever they apply.

May I ride wearing earbuds?

No, earbuds are not allowed for safety and courtesy to other riders. If you need to use your phone or another device, please pull safely off the road or trail and stop first.

Are the roads and trails closed to traffic?

No. Roads are open to vehicle traffic, so you must obey all rules of the road. Ride to the right, ride no more than two abreast, and stop at all stop signs. Ride predictably, be courteous to other riders, and be respectful to drivers.

If we're riding a tandem bicycle, do both people have to register?

Yes. Each rider must register and be covered by the participant waiver. This ensures everyone has access to event services.
