Volunteering Opportunities

The Road / Course Marking Team is responsible for the physical navigation of the event. By placing clear, accurate signage and road markings, the team ensures participants stay on course and are alerted to potential hazards. Members typically work together in the days or hours leading up to the event to 'pre-mark' the route.

This role is flexible — you'll coordinate directly with Shanna Rice to pick times that work for you within the 7/11–7/24 window. 

Handles the heavy lifting to build a professional, safe start/finish environment and ensures the venue is returned to its original condition at the end of the event.

Setup is on Friday, July 24, after 5:00 PM. Tear down is Saturday, July 25, after 5:00 PM

As the first point of contact, sets the event's tone by providing a warm welcome and clear direction. Responsible for ensuring a safe, organized flow of traffic into parking areas and guiding participants efficiently from their vehicles to the registration area and start line.

As the final face of the event, this team creates a high-energy "hero’s welcome" for every rider. You are responsible for celebrating each participant's achievement with a victory bell ring, providing well-earned ice cream bars, and ensuring a smooth crowd flow by guiding finishers safely from the finish line to the post-ride festival.

Provide on-site power by setting up and monitoring power generators.

Responsible for keeping riders fueled, hydrated, and motivated at designated break points. The crew maintains a clean, well-stocked station and provides the essential morale boost needed to help participants successfully reach the finish line.

Responsible for ensuring every rider is officially accounted for before they hit the route. The crew works together to provide a seamless check-in experience, processing pre-registered participants and handling new on-site registrations with speed and accuracy.
