About this event
Ride the new road into the Mount St. Helens blast zone! The Spirit Lake Memorial Highway winds up the Toutle Valley to the Coldwater Ridge Visitors Center (and to the Johnston Ridge Viewpoint, once a road repair is complete). This is an open highway ride. Most of the course is on the new highway with wide shoulders and excellent visibility.
The Rotary Club of Longview organizes this event. Although registration is not required through VBC, it is required through the Tour de Blast website.
3 Route options for 2026:
- Beginner: 53K (33-mile) Round-Trip Fun Ride to Hoffstadt Bluffs (+1500')
- Intermediate: 87K (54-mile) Round Trip to Elk Rock (+3,300')
- Advanced Intermediate: 106K (66-mile) Round Trip to Coldwater Ridge Visitors Center
