Details

This ride is similar to the Twin Bridges and Volcanoes ride but with a more direct return from Mt. Tabor.

Did you know that Portland is one of only six US cities having extinct volcanoes within its boundaries, and the only one located in the lower 48? Come out for a new route to an old favorite and test your legs up Rocky Butte (at 92 mm years old, it is the youngest of the four) and Mt. Tabor (a 600' cinder cone). We'll return via some charming Portland east side neighborhoods and, if the legs are there, take a bonus loop around Tomahawk Island.
