We gather at Bike Clark County Bike Shop and ride over the I-5 bridge together to PIR for the annual car-free night ride around the Christmas lights. No walkers, skaters, strollers, vehicles.  Just us bikes and trikes!
Bring $ or buy ticket online - BEST!  Entrance fee is $16 if you prepay or $18 at the gate. Don't even think of cheaping out!  This ride benefits the PDX Sunshine Division.  You're feeding and clothing a neighbor in need, so feel good about it!  Cash? exact amount only!

How to prepare for night ride

Lights – Required:  Front - white light.  Rear - red light or reflector.
Your lights should help you see the road and be seen by other road users.

Test Ride I
 - Try out your lights on a short night ride.  Can you see?  Do they fall off??

Clothing
 – It's COLD in the dark.  Wear MORE.  It's a SLOW ride -- you won't warm up.
Wind protection is a real butt saver.  Hand and toe warmers, hat, buff and gloves, thermal everything, wind-block/rain coat.
Reflective stripes are groovy.

Test Ride II
 – T
ry out your clothing choices at a slow pace at night.
Warm enough?
Are you stiff and stuffed like the little brother in A Christmas Story?

Bike Decor
–Jim usually wins Best Bike, but maybe he'll slack off this year.  Knock yourself out just in case.

Test Ride III
–Try out your decorated bike before the real ride.
Can you still pedal despite that fake Santa you hot-glued to your fender?
