Route Description: Jan and others helped start this summer with a great series of stress-free skills and safety tips on Monday nights. Let's use what we learned and continue to ride through the summer! New riders are of course welcome (members and non-members). Start locations will vary. The tentative route is https://ridewithgps.com/routes/36835286.
This ride (7/26) will consist of 10 miles of what I consider one of the flattest portions of the Ride Around Clark County (RACC) event. This portion of the route will have helped connect hundreds of riders from Vancouver downtown to Lacamas Lake during the RACC event. Our 10 mile ride will start and finish at Dairy Queen in The Heights. And what better way to end a Monday but with friends, cycling, and ICE CREAM!!! Please bring $ if you would like to get some great DQ ice cream and socialize a bit before returning home for the evening.
REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED. Contact me if you have any difficulty. Our registration collects your waiver signature AND emergency contact information. Important!
⦁ Please arrive 15 minutes early to be part of the announcements and safety briefing.
⦁ Bring a bike in good working order (pump up those tires), wear your helmet (REQUIRED), and tuck in some water and a tube that fits your wheel.
⦁ This is a no rider left behind ride meaning that we will travel at the pace of the slowest rider.
Note: If you are a 201 ride leader, you are always welcome to send me wording to add to this ride for any 201 route adaptations you'd like to offer at the same time - OR - talk to a road captain about adding a separate 201 route on the calendar. Please feel welcome to join or add to this ride and my future rides.

Notes:
|
Please arrive 15 minutes early to be a part of the announcements and safety briefing. Riders are expected to have read the Safe Riding Policy and be familiar with the Ride Style Definitions. Please direct questions to the ride leader or Road Captain. Helmets are required. Lights (front and rear), RoadIDs and cell phones are recommended.
Remember - we want to be awesome representatives for cycling and spread a love for our great sport locally by obeying all traffic laws and riding in a safe and courteous manner. Ride safely and have fun!
