You have to admit with the cooler weather there are some positives:
1) Your drinking water is nice and cold. I do have to mention that last year on two long rides with Sally the water tube to my CamelBak did freeze.
2) When you’re huffing and puffing up a nasty incline (hill is a 4-letter word) and gasping for air, you don't have to worry about inhaling a bug.
3) Breaks tend to be shorter as they don't need to be longer since the group is much smaller. If you can find someone to ride with.
