Ride Description

This ride is essentially John Ost's, "Tour De Friends" ride, changed a bit by Becky Stanford for her "Ice Cream Social" ride and tweaked again to start from a different location... but now offered on a weekend for those who can't ride during the week.

The ride will also be held at a slower pace, and no one will be dropped, as people have been asking for a group ride (where we'll stay together) at a more relaxed pace than is maintained for most of our rides.

We will go through as many neighborhoods as possible, and avoid as many busier streets as possible, all the way from Vancouver to Camas. We've also tried to keep the number of hills to a minimum, so you can take it "nice and easy" and enjoy the journey.

Rider Guidelines

• Arrive early: Arrive 15 minutes early for check-in and pre-ride briefing.
• Know the club policies: Read the Safe Riding Policy and be familiar with the Ride Style Definitions.
• Required: Helmets Recommended: Lights (front and rear), RoadIDs, and cell phones.
• ABC Quick Check: Check air, brakes, chain/crank, quick releases before leaving for the ride and again at start.
• Maintain pace: Be able to maintain the stated pace. Tell leader if leaving route or turning back.
• Represent cycling: Be an awesome representative of cycling by obeying traffic laws, riding safely, and being courteous.
