RESPECT THE ROLL
Be geared up and bike-ready 10 minutes early. We start the briefing then, so we can roll on time. Don't keep the group waiting!

Ride Description

This is a frighteningly fun costume ride along an urban route through central east side neighborhoods, the waterfront, near north neighborhoods (where we'll see the locally world-famous "Halloween Display on Franklin") and downtown Vancouver. So, there will be plenty of opportunities to startle passers by while showing off your scary outfits and, if you are really ghoulishly creative, your bike.

The leader will bring a bag-'o-candy (mini-Hershey bars) to share with everyone and as many kids as possible along the way. Feel free to do the same (for the kids, anyway) if you wish.

Our group will ride at an easy, social pace. The only real uphill will be along E McLaughlin as we approach the South Cliff neighborhood. The route may be tweaked a bit between its posting date and Halloween, but not in a major way. No one will be dropped. Towards the end of the ride we'll have an optional stop at Courtney's Coffee and/or Treat Ice Cream.
