DESCRIPTION

Fun little after work route which starts at Silver Star Elementary, rides out into Brush Prairie, and climbs the WSU hill for a view of the fountain, and maybe the mountain, before looping back down via Salmon Creek Avenue to 50th and then up over the 139th street hill. This is one of my favorites as it has it all - country roads, a babbling brook (Salmon Creek) and a few good climbs.

I posted this ride at 12 mph. Just a reminder, this is on windless flats. If it's windy, or up a hill, my pace may drop a bit.

Faster and slower riders are welcome to join, but please download the route, so you know the way.

• Please complete an ABC Quick Check prior to arriving at the start (air, brakes, chain and crank; quick releases and a short ride to make sure all is working properly). And an ABC Quick Check once again at the start.
