DETAILS

This is a longer variation of the standard Friday Salmon Creek to Brush Prairie route for a total distance of 44 miles and elev. gain of about 1400 ft.   2 loops are added to the standard route near "China Ditch": the first is to the east after the first stop sign on 119th, and the second is after turning left by heading north on 142nd. The pace will be the equivalent to 17-19 mph on a flat with no wind, meaning we will strive to ride at a constant power/effort upslopes (slower) or downslopes (faster). There is a rest stop at the Hockinson park at mile 21, also off China Ditch, where restrooms are available. 

As this route is forecasted to require about 3 hrs, 2 bottles of hydration and 1-2 pieces of nutrition are strongly advised to have onboard.
