DETAILS
This ride features the best parts of the new 2024 Metric Century route!
The route departs from the Salmon Creek Starbucks and initially follows the same lightly-traveled roads used by the "Friday Ride" east towards China Ditch. After a short cruise north along The Ditch, we then follow the 2024 RACC Metric Century route south and east toward Lacamas Lake. The roads feature beautiful scenery, a couple of challenging climbs, and relatively little car traffic. The ride stops at Lacamas Park where restrooms and water are available. The return to the start follows the eastern edge of Lacamas Lake while avoiding many of the hills encountered on the way out.
After a great ride in the morning, please join us for the VBC Volunteer Pizza Dinner later that day. (sign up and register online separately for the Volunteer Party/Celebration via the calendar link)
