DETAILS
This ride is part of a series of weekend rides designed to help you prepare for the Metric Plus route at this year's Ride Around Clark County event. We're not training on the RACC route itself, but we will build up to similar distance and elevation gain.
This week's route uses the popular North Route Reverse but we'll start from the Salmon Creek Starbucks (NE 139th St & NE 20th Ave) instead of the normal location. We'll head north and east toward Battle Ground using lightly traveled back roads and avoiding most hills. We loop around Battle Ground, then head south toward Hockinson via China Ditch. Once we're done with The Ditch we head back west along NE 99th and NE 63rd Streets, before heading north back to our starting point in Salmon Creek.
Those who like an extra challenge can tackle the 3.5-mile sprint south along China Ditch Road (a.k.a. NE 172nd Ave).
EVERYONE IS WELCOME!
Not registered for RACC yet? We don't care: come ride with us!
Riding an eBike? We love eBikes: come ride with us!
REGROUP POINTS
We'll stop at the Battle Ground Community Center / Battle Ground Skate Park around mile 15.
We'll also regroup at Hockinson Meadows Community Park which is near the end of China Ditch (a.k.a. NE 172nd Ave) around mile 22.
RESTOOMS & WATER
Restrooms are available at Hockinson Meadows Park around mile 22.

This is a regroup ride, so if you're faster or slower than the ride leader you'll need to know the route! If you have a GPS bike computer (Garmin, Wahoo, Hammerhead, etc) you should download the route to your computer before the ride.
VBC members get free turn-by-turn directions when using the RideWithGPS app of their smartphone! Find instructions for using RideWithGPS on the Club's Resources page. We also have advice on repurposing an old cellphone to provide GPS Navigation on the Cheap.
