Throbbing Thigh Thriller Summer Series 4 - ONLINE REGISTRATION REQUIRED!
We are going to mix up the Throbbing Thigh Thriller with a summer series of rides starting at Blue Castle Coffee in Battle Ground. The summer series will include a series of 8 different routes into the hills north and east of Battle Ground.
The fourth ride of the series heads northeast to Yacolt, including Basket Flats eastbound. It then climbs Garner Rd and Kelly Rd on its way back to Battle Ground.
The route includes three miles on Lucia Falls Road between Lucia Falls Park and Moulton Falls Park. This is a narrow road with fast traffic. There is an option to bypass it by using a mostly gravel path. The gravel is generally small, fine gravel which Dennis Hatton has ridden without problem. There are round wooden water diverters towards the end of the gravel section for which he dismounted and walked past. Use caution whichever route you choose.
This ride alternates between the Throbbing Thigh Thriller Two (aka TTTT) (this week) and the Non-Throbbing Thigh Thriller - which is next week.
