Subject: City of Vancouver 192nd Ave Project
Hi there,
My name is Amelia Ulsh, I work with PointNorth Consulting, and I wanted to get in touch with you regarding the City of Vancouver’s 192nd Avenue Project, which we are supporting with community engagement and public outreach.
The 192nd Avenue Project (project website: https://www.beheardvancouver.org/192nd) will design a new roadway to improve safety, accessibility and comfort along the corridor between NE 18th Street and SE 1st Street.
We are in the early stages of design and we are prioritizing connecting with the community to understand what improvements will best meet the needs for this area. The 192nd Avenue Project Advisory Group (PAG) will help advise the project team and ensure that the new roadway design will meet the needs of community members who live, work, recreate and visit the project area.
This is one of the biggest transportation projects happening along 192nd and a great opportunity to influence the future of the area. Do you have any connections to residents who might be interested in participating that use their bikes to travel this area, specifically along 192nd?
We would love to have a Vancouver Bicycle Club member participate. There is an opportunity to both influence and shape the future of this growing area of Vancouver.
Please let me know if you have any questions or initial thoughts! There are opportunities to begin engaging with the Project Advisory Group in the coming months.
All the best,
Amelia
