Route Description:
### IMPORTANT CHANGE IN START TIME ###
WE ROLL AT 5:30PM TONIGHT
Please be at the start by 5:15, if possible.
This Monday 9/20 we cross the I-5 bridge on an adventure from Vancouver Washington to Vancouver Ave in Portland Oregon with a destination of Farragut Park. We'll learn the connections that connect us to Marine Drive, Delta Park, The Columbia Slough Trail. Believe it or not we can do ALL OF THIS in exactly 10 miles!
This is NOT in the flat terrain category. We're going over the I5 bridge. And there are a couple other slight hills. To give you an idea, our Orchards Park ride was 220 feet elevation gain. Fort Vancouver to Wintler Park was 230 feet. This ride will be 330 feet elevation gain according to Ride w GPS. While it's labeled moderate, it feels minor to many because it's a short 10 mile ride.
We're riding mostly North and South, hopefully keeping most of the sun out of our eyes. Yay!
