The board will be selecting the Outstanding Service Award at our December meeting. If you would like to nomination someone, please forward the nomination to any board member.
Activities considered in making the award are (normally an award winner will have done several of these over multiple years)
* Board member
* Liaison between VBC and other bike groups (city, county, shops)
* Changed club in some particular way: insurance, website, new policies for the club, this award, ride leader awards program, Buddies List, jersey design
* Ride Leader
* Route Designer
* Wheel Truth mailing/delivery (in the past this job was big)
* Coordinator of special events in/outside club: fitness fairs, ride series (time trials, beginners), charity events (Xmas bike build), picnic, RACC
* Personality: welcoming, mentor to new people, leader
* Longevity, diversity, innovation or depth of club service
