Get ready for the Ride Around Clark County (RACC). It's only 1 week away!!

8:30am Starting Time! This gives us enough time to get to Battle Ground to meet up with Steve's ride (optional).


**Updated Starting Location: Hanna Hall, Clark College. The official RACC start! (Restrooms may be available at Hanna Hall.)

On Saturday, April 29, the default route is 45 miles. Click below for the Ride with GPS Link. We will meet up with the Battle Ground Hills-N-Thrills series at the start of their ride in Battle Ground (led by Steve Baltazar) for some solid climbing! If you'd like to just do the 45 miles, stick with your ride leader Sally - she will get you back to the start in 45 miles. If you'd like to add some distance and elevation, go with Steve's ride. Then, make your way on your own back to Clark College.

Please note:
- The updated 8:30am start time.
- Rest Stop #1: 18.4 Miles (Battle Ground Library - to meet up with Steve's ride)
- Rest Stop #2: 32.4 miles (Starbucks in Salmon Creek off of 20th Ave)




Notes:

Please arrive 15 minutes early to sign up and be a part of the announcements and safety briefing. Riders are expected to have read the Safe Riding Policyand be familiar with the Ride Style Definitions. Please direct questions to the ride leader or Road Captain. Helmets are required. Lights (front and rear), RoadIDs and cell phones are recommended. Please make sure to print a ride cue sheet, if you need one. Make sure your bike is in good working order. Riders should be able to maintain the stated pace. Please communicate with the leader if you decide to go off route or not return to the start.

 

Remember - we want to be awesome representatives for cycling and spread a love for our great sport locally by obeying all traffic laws and riding in a safe and courteous manner. Ride safely and have fun!
