Happy Pi Day!
Pi Day is celebrated on March 14th (3/14) around the world. Pi (Greek letter “π”) is the symbol used in mathematics to represent a constant — the ratio of the circumference of a circle to its diameter — which is approximately 3.14159. Pi Day is an annual opportunity for math enthusiasts to recite the infinite digits of Pi, talk to their friends about math, and eat pie.
No, I am not a mathematician. In fact, I hate math! 😆
However, I am a lover of (pizza) pie, and Pi day seemed like a good excuse to invite my VBC buddies out for a bike ride with pizza after.
We will begin our ride from the parking lot of Heavy Metal Brewing and ride bike friendly roads and neighborhoods.
Last year, not only did we have pizza, but we had pie, so feel free to bring your favorite circular food to share after.
Please try not to park directly in front of the restaurant. There is plenty of parking around the back and side.
I'm really hoping the weather cooperates like it did this year!

- Please arrive 15 minutes early to be a part of the announcements and safety briefing.
- Riders are expected to have read the Safe Riding Policy and be familiar with the Ride Style Definitions.

- Helmets are required. Lights (front and rear), RoadIDs and cell phones are recommended.
