DETAILS
This ride has it all, hills, flats, smooth pavement, low traffic, mountain views, pigs, llamas and chicken farms, and sheepdogs chasing sheep. Depart from Salmon Creek Starbucks (by the Albertson's)...and head east to some quiet back roads in Brush Prairie. After winding a bit north into the southern tip of Battle Ground - the route heads west back to the start. This route has 5 short and nasty hills to conquer to access long stretches of smooth pavement. 50th up to Pleasant Valley school, Sheepdog hill and WSU are three of the highlights if you like climbing.
There is a longer, faster pace ride with less hills at the same time/place - if that is a better fit for you. Please check out that ride/register if you're interested.
Enjoy a beverage at Starbucks post-ride.
