This cyclocross race is super fun TO OBSERVE - I am not going there to race! The course is NUTS. The venue is green and gorgeous. Some of our bike buddies are racing!---although we'll likely miss them. I ride 12-15 on the flats without wind. I'm a bat outta hell downhill, but slugbait uphill. It might take me 2 hours to get there (hills). I'm planning to stay only an hour and then head home. I rode THIS ROUTE moreorless in 2017 to watch. Hope it still works. We're guinea pigs, folks! Highly recommend front and tail lights - no, we won't be riding in the dark! But hiz viz clothing and lights and anything else you've got are the name of this game because of the rural nature and the hills. Did I mention some of these hills could make me cry? Not you, of course, but I'm bringing my hankie. Feel free to ride with me or ahead or behind, but know you'll be on your own if we don't ride together. Enjoy this October weather!
