You have a bike. You want to ride. But you're new or just getting back into it and you want company. Join us!
THIS MONDAY ONLY -- START @ Bike Clark County, 1604 Main St, Vancouver – Meet in the parking lot behind the shop. We will learn how to ride over the I-5 bridge to Rose City! About HALF the route is off-road path! How to get on and off the bike/pedestrian bridge path starting in Vancouver and returning How to connect to trails/streets after you've crossed Hayden Island Expo Center - how to buy a ticket and board the MAX with your bike (we won't actually do it) Delta Park - how to catch the C-TRAN bus here to Vancouver: it takes you over the bridge to downtown (in case you're too tired or the weather is bad and you don't want to ride) How to ride to Interstate Ave/Denver (bike lanes) and catch the Columbia Slough Trail to Delta Park back to Vancouver Tonight we’re out to learn how to safely get to everyday destinations on our bikes! Please arrive 15 minutes early to be a part of the announcements and safety briefing. Riders are expected to have read the Safe Riding Policy and be familiar with the Ride Style Definitions. Please direct questions to the ride leader or Road Captain. Helmets are required. Lights (front and rear), RoadIDs and cell phones are recommended.
