Want to be a VBC Ride Leader?
Author Last Post

Hello,

I've been a member since last spring, and a few of my riding friends suggested that I become a ride leader. I've gone to the website a few times and hunted for how to do that, but gave up after searching. On this 3rd try, I found this old email from 2021 so hopefully it still gets where it needs to go. I'm interested in getting trained as a ride leader in 2024, so please add me to the list and let me know when and where to go. Thanks!

Buddies, Have you been a part of the VBC for a while…but have yet to become an “official” Ride Leader?
The Club rolls off of the wheels (not the heels) of our Ride Leaders! (Every Ride Leader training is subject to my corny jokes!)

In all seriousness, being a Ride Leader enables you to give back to the Club and cycling community by providing a variety of rides at different paces/distance/etc. And…it’s to your choosing!

To find out more and how to pursue online training, simply reply to this email.

Welcome Michael Green - he just became certified as a Ride Leader! (He will be filling out a Yelp review very soon on my Ride Leader certification process.)
See you on the road! ~Sally, Assistant Road Captain
