Route Information

#0 - Garden Route 2012
This route visits 4 VBCer's gardens, the Fort Vancouver National Historic Garden, and peeks at private gardens en route.  At the end we head off the main drag to a secret spot where THE WEIRD PLANT grows.  Then back to the coffee shop.  For the cue sheet, please use the Cue Doc link bottom left on THIS page, not on the ridewithpgs map link.

Approx. route here: http://ridewithgps.com/routes/1272942  Note: The shorter route visits 3 gardens, the Fort and THE WEIRD PLANT.  You can see its route here:  http://ridewithgps.com/routes/1314678

We will also ride by several gardens in town.  All gardens are very different and include:
foliagefocusfengshuiorwhateveritis, funkyfunctional, exotic hideaway, Portland-hip, xeriscape-y, Feng Shui, Yin and Yang, Asian influenced Oasis on a city lot, from a deep shade garden room, to sunny raised vegetable beds historic, and then... the WEIRD PLANT.  Whew.

Bring a snack if you're like us and gardening makes you hungry.  Water too.

Caution:  Ride with GPS maps are good, but their cues are unreliable.  Please use the cue sheet you can find at the link below.
