What is the 10-11-12 Ride? Well, it's a ride I started when leading rides in Pennsylvania for those getting started in biking or just want to learn more about bike handling and riding in light traffic. The 10-11-12 Ride is approximately 10 miles long, at no more than 11 mph, and starts promptly at 12 pm. It’s a flat route and is perfect for new riders, those returning to biking after a long absence, or if you’re just looking for a leisurely afternoon ride. If you have children or grandchildren, bring them along. We'll help them get started. We will begin at the parking lot at the Pendleton Woolen Mills Store in Washougal (see directions below). We’ll ride the Captain William Clark Trail for about 6 miles and move onto some of the quiet and flat back streets of Washougal. Then back to the parking lot. The ride will be leisurely, easy, instructive and fun.
This is a group ride so all riders will stay together. No one is left behind and no one goes ahead. That's guaranteed!
