What is the 10-11-12 Ride? Well, it's a ride I started when leading rides in Pennsylvania for those getting started in biking or just wanting to learn more about bike handling and riding in light traffic. The 10-11-12 Ride is approximately 10 miles long, at no more than 11 mph, and starts promptly at 12 pm. It’s a flat route and is perfect for newbies, those returning to biking after a long absence, or if you’re just looking for a leisurely noon day ride. We will begin at the parking lot at the Pendleton Woolen Mills Store in Washougal (see directions below). We’ll ride the Captain William Clark Trail for about 6 miles or so and move onto some of the quiet and flat back streets of Washougal. Then back to the parking lot. The ride will be leisurely, easy, instructive and fun.
