It's the car-free, bike-only tour of the PIR lights and a fundraiser for the BTA sponsored by Bike Gallery. Last year 40 riders pedaled the 4 miles through downtown Vancouver and over the bridge for the tour... many were kids on tagalongs or in trailers. Lights and Christmas costumes are encouraged. When: Brickhouse 4pm. Show your bike helmet for food and drink specials. Family friendly establishment; kids are welcome. Depart: 6pm from the vacant parking lot on Mill Plain and Main, across the street from the Brickhouse, 109 W 15th St. We'll ride over as a group and do one very casual lap. Stay as long as you like or return with the group. Entry fee to PIR is 6 bucks (kids under 13 free). The cash line was quicker last year and exact change is appreciated. State law says cyclists at night need a white front light (not a reflector) and a red rear reflector at a minimum. The more lights the better! Helmets required. Yes, we'll ride in the rain! It's the Northwest. Dress warmly. This is cruising pace.
