Subject:  Earthquake and Mini-Quake Rides, Wed. 3/20/2012


 Biker Buddies-

It's not looking very good for the Earthquake and Mini-Quake rides, 
scheduled for 12 noon tomorrow, 3/20/2012  The weather forecast(s) boil down 
to more of the same: cold rain, rain showers, and breezy.  Some forecasters 
put the probablity of precipation at 60%, another at 70%, and two others at 
90%.  So it's a safe bet that it will be pretty wet out.

Your Ride Leaders are planning to show up with sign-up sheets in hand for 
any "rugged" individuals who may want to ride no matter what.  Then the Ride 
Leaders will retreat into the River Maiden for a hot and steamy beverage.

Why aren't we done with Winter yet?  The astronomers calculated that the 
Vernal Equinox occurred last night, approx. 10 PM.  So where's our Spring?
