To help you guys understand a little better....

This from a quote from yahoo news.
http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/olympics-fourth-place-medal/ralph-lauren-opening-ceremony-uniform-made-entirely-china-155244410--oly.html

"The Olympic uniforms should be made in the United States,
not in China. "Made in the USA." That's the way we want our athletes,
the clothes they wear and the cars they drive. No one fundamentally
disagrees with this. But we live in reality. Outsourcing is an
unfortunate way of life in the United States. We can hem and haw, but
unless serious changes are made to various laws and regulations (ahem,
Senate and House Majority Leaders), this is the way it is.
If you're going to burn every item worn by Olympians that isn't "Made in the USA," then LeBron James and Michael Phelps would be competing in the buff. This is a worthy cause but not a practical application. The
only thing more frivolous would be to criticize the commercialism of the Olympics.
Now, please, my iPhone has been ringing off the hook and I have to go charge my iPad in my Honda before I meet a friend for sushi.

Ralph Lauren's response to the "outrage"
http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/olympics-fourth-place-medal/ralph-lauren-promises-2014-olympic-opening-ceremony-outfits-234334614--oly.html

"For more than 45 years Ralph Lauren has built a brand that embodies the
best of American quality and design rooted in the rich heritage of our
country. We are honored to continue our longstanding relationship with
the United States Olympic Committee in the 2014 Olympic Games by serving as an Official Outfitter of the US Olympic and Paralympic teams. Ralph
Lauren promises to lead the conversation within our industry and our
government to address the issue to increase manufacturing in the United
States. We have committed to producing the Opening and Closing Ceremony
Team USA uniforms in the United States that will be worn for the 2014
Olympic Games."
