REMINDER to all.....

The WELCOME BACK ride for Cindi Rauch is set for Monday, July 7th.   Let's join her for all, or portions, of her 49th Century ride in our home state of Washington, in and around good ol' Vancouver, USA.  She will start out very early in the morning from Washougal, heading to Vancouver.  You can join her anywhere along the route, or at any one of her three planned stops. You'll probably want to print out a cue sheet and reference the mapmyride route map, using the links on our calendar page on the VBC website (Thank you, Jan.!).  The stopping locations are:

Stop1-  at approx. 20 miles into her ride, Cindi will be at Panera Beard, 915 SE 164th Ave.  She expects to be there at 7:00 to 7:15 AM. 

Stop 2 - at approx. 47 miles into her ride, Cindi will stop at 18406 NE 149th Ave for cookies, water and potty stop. 

Stop 3 - at approx. 85 miles into her ride, Cindi will stop at Frenchman's Bar Regional Park, on Lower River Road, for water and potty stop.

Stop 4 - at approx. 104 miles into her ride, Cindi will complete her 49th Century and wheel into her parents place at 3315 NE 109th Ave.

The ride pace will be 13 to 14 mph,  in order for Cindi to make her flight from PDX to Alaska at 5 PM.

I made some rough calculations to estimate her arrival time at each stop, using an AVERAGE speed of 13.5 mph.  I will offer these estimated times, but cannot guarantee them.  Please do your own check on my estimates, and know that any thing can happen along the route.

Stop 1-  Arrival at approx.  7:00 to 7:15 AM

Stop 2 - Arrival at approx. 9:15 to 9:30 AM 

Stop 3 - Arrival at approx. 12:15 to 12:30 PM

Stop 4 - Arrival at finish approx. 1:55 to 2:00 PM

I encourage as many folks as possible to turn out for this WELCOME BACK ride.  It'll be fun!
