Subject: VBC Time Trials - next Thursday - NEW Course!

The VBC Time Trial Series starts next Thursday, April 19!

Due to construction projects at the Port of Vancouver, we have a different course this year.  TT enthusiasts, please read on!

  *   FLAT 11-mile course near Vancouver Lake.  Come down and set your new benchmark!

  *   START LINE:  Approx 4.7 miles northwest of I-5 via either Mill Plain or Fourth Plain (both merge to become Lower River Road). Look for the VBC Start Line banner on the fence.  DO NOT STOP OR PARK CARS HERE!  (This new start line is 2.6 miles farther on Lower River Road than the old start line at the Port of Vancouver office.)

  *   PARKING:  Vancouver Lake Crew lot, .2 miles past the start line towards Vancouver Lake (watch for "Vancouver Lake Crew" sign, and a VBC Parking Here! banner on the fence just prior).  No security is provided - take appropriate precautions.  VBC port-a-potty is located here.

  *   SIGN-IN TIME: Every Thursday at 6:00 PM
  *   START TIME: Every Thursday at 6:30 PM (first racer starts)
  *   Open to anyone (under age 18 requires signature of responsible adult)
  *   Portable restroom available in Vancouver Lake Crew parking lot.  Water available at Vancouver Lake Park.
