[VBC Buddies] THANK YOU: SPUD RIDE RAISES $155 AND 60 POUNDS OF FOOD FOR SHARE HOUSE

Thanks to everyone that brought food to the SPUD RIDE today and to  
everyone who made a cash contribution.  Thanks to the generosity of  
VBC members, we raised $155 and collected over 60 pounds of canned  
food for SHARE HOUSE.  That's something that all members can be proud  
of.

VBC member David Jones gratefully accepted these donations on behalf  
of Share House.  David be riding across the country and back, 12000  
miles in all, to raise money for the Share House and increase  
awareness of homelessness and hunger in America.  He'll be setting off  
from Vancouver on May 19th.  Good luck David.

Remember:  April is VBC/SHARE month.  Bring food or contributions to  
the next ride and your ride leader will deliver them to Share House.
