To keep the juices flowing and to satisfy some group desires for a 
Ridgefield ride, I offer the following. However, for the hill fanatics, this 
will be a somewhat less strenuous Ridgefield Ride. There will be some hills 
, but the report from past rides was that the rollers were great.

The ride will start at 10:00 AM from our Friday ride site, the Starbuck's at 
13900 NE 20th Avenue in Salmon Creek.

Ride length is approximately 29 miles (or more if desired) from Starbuck's 
out to 319th Street (LaCenter I-5 exit), traveling on a few new roads, and 
some already known. Quick regroup at the lawn sculpture garden near the golf 
course, and another at Ridgefield Coffee downtown. Then back towards Salmon 
Creek via NW Carty, 259th and almost the entire length of NE 29th, with a 
wonderful hill climb at the end to WSU and a fast coast downhill to coffee.

Pace will be brisk (14 - 18) throughout, so if you are desiring a cruiser 
ride, perhaps Clay's 2-Bridge loop would be more advisable. Based on past 
rides, there will be two groups on the road, but speed will be essential for 
all (or what passes for speed with us gray hairs).

Map or alpha directions will be available at sign-up, and maybe Big Doug 
will even show up for this one.....
