Well that's what I wanted to write. Plotting this little jaunt out on my desktop it was suppose to come in at just under 4,000 feet of climbing. Then when I rode it on the 31st, I only got 2,500 on my Garmin. What a big fat gyp!!! Then too, I was expecting it to be only 30 or so miles but it's just a tenth or two shy of 50 miles. Is that supposed to make up for a lack of climbing? Oh well, that's life I suppose. But wait a moment - maybe I can sweeten the pot by writing that the bulk of the climbing is all towards the middle of the ride. Come out, see what you think and when faced with the first big hill you too aren't saying Oy Vey.
