If you're interested in bicycling in Vancouver, Washington, USA, then this is a good place to start. Any impromptu rides (last-minute additions to our published ride schedule) are likely to appear here, as are opportunities to volunteer with cycling- or community-related activities, and invitations to attend functions to advocate on behalf of cycling and cyclists in our area. If you'd like more information about the Vancouver Bicycle Club, or to check out our already-scheduled rides or find out when the next bi-monthly club meeting is, you can find it at our website, vbc-usa.com. We are a civil group, as indicated by our informal name Buddies List, and we ask that if you join our list, you consider yourself one of our buddies. Keep in mind that if you send a message to the list, it goes out to all of us. If you're new to the list, or to the club, we look forward to meeting you in person on one of our rides or at one of our meetings (see the website for details). Using Buddies
To post a message to all the list members, send email to buddies@vbc-usa.com. You can subscribe to the list, or change your existing subscription, in the sections below.
Subscribing to Buddies
Subscribe to Buddies by filling out the following form. You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you. This is a private list, which means that the list of members is not available to non-members. Your email address:   Your name (optional):   You may enter a privacy password below. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext. If you choose not to enter a password, one will be automatically generated for you, and it will be sent to you once you've confirmed your subscription. You can always request a mail-back of your password when you edit your personal options. Once a month, your password will be emailed to you as a reminder.
