This route is an out and back on Leif Erickson Drive in Forest Park. This is a gravel road that ranges from smooth to rough and can be muddy in spots. It is very comfortable with a full suspension MTB. Gravel and cross bikes are doable, road bikes are not recommended.

We will meet behind the gate that starts Leif Erickson Drive; this is the end of Thurman St. There 
are porta potties1/3 mile from the ride start.

Parking on the weekends may be as far as ¼ of a mile down Thurman St.; weekdays it is much better.
Note: Parking for this ride is along NW Thurman St. please allow time for this.

Please arrive 15 minutes early to sign up and be a part of the announcements and safety briefing. Riders are expected to have read the 
Safe Riding Policy and be familiar with the Ride Style Definitions. Please direct questions to the ride leader or Road Captain. Helmets are required. Road IDs and cell phones are recommended. Make sure your bike is in good working order. Riders should be able to maintain the stated pace. Please communicate with the leader if you decide to go off route or not return to the start.
